Through image and painting, I want to get closer to the world of relations, in whose structures and patterns we move.

My painting process is activated by the observation of the present and the accumulation of its left-over documents and traces. I collect images constantly during my expeditions through the internet, archives, art history, newspapers, magazines and through the lens of my own camera. I could define this as an underlining process, like the procedure of drawing lines under the sentences of a book that is being red. Those underlines don’t modify the text but bring some of its parts to attention. It is a gesture that doesn’t alter what had been originally written but that makes it own.
